Ledge to Lancelin Ocean Marathon - Video Diary

Check out my travel video diary of my trip to Lancelin, WA.
I was disappointed with my performance. In my first attempt at this race I didn't finish. My second attempt I finish 47th from memory after a poor start. This year I was hoping after my decent start of going much better. But I was having real trouble planning and getting depth! I was using the wrong sail size. 
At the end of the video I have a little tribute to Peter Volwater. I first meet Peter at the Ledge to lancelin aout 4 years ago. I was importing Avanti sails and he was the star on the Avanti team. Peter could do all disciples of windsurfing. He and his partner where the glamour couple. It was a great time.
At the end of the 2016 event Petes great mate Scotty McKercher was awarded the overall H24 title. It was a beautiful moment.
I had some difficulties after the news of Peters passing. I only spoke to a few close friends in Sydney I couldn't really accept or deal with it. This trip to Lancelin was good for me to see the WA Windsurf community. I cant imagine how these guys are after losing their immense friend. Stronger together it seems :-)
